It's one of the rarest events in baseball. A player recording three outs on one continuous play without help from a team mate.
Carbrera turned the trick in the fifth inning of the April 12 3-0 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays.
Cabrera made a diving catch of a ball hit by Toronto's Lyle Overbay for one out. He stepped on second base to retire Kevin Mench who was running on the play, then tagged Marco Scutaro, who was running from first, for the third out.
