I would not object to him as VP, but was sad that he didn't run for The Senate against John Kerry, choosing instead to try to pitch one more year.

I suggested this mostly in jest, but I wouldn't be surprised if Curt isn't considering the idea, now that his pitching days are all but done. He has struck me as having political ambitions for a while now, and while the transition from sports to politics is seldom a smooth one, it has been done. Can't see it happening, but I'd put Schilling's chances higher than a few on this list.
