This changed my outlook - not my genetic structure. From another angle; this could be like saying that I had no importance before I established my beliefs. Apparently God, having sent his son to die for my sins, felt that I did. If He thought I was "somebody" before I believed, then I feel pretty safe in saying that I can too. Well, as long as I don't get too carried away with it I suppose.

I was lost....but now I'm found. Was blind, but now I see.

I came to know Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior at such an innocent age that it took a few years to grow into the full understanding of what salvation was. Since I wasn't yet at the age of accountablity at the time of salvation, I believe I had a simple understanding on my level at the time, making the experience legitimate. Now I won't go as far as to say that unbelievers are "nobodies" (for God loves everyone unconditionally). I do, however, believe they're "somebodies" who haven't yet accepted the truth of God's salvation and eternal life in Heaven. We as believers just need to be the best witnesses we can to the lost, plant the seed, tell them about God's love for them and the free gift He offers, and allow the Lord to take care of the rest.

With Christ in my life I am a child of God. I pray for wisdom as I venture through this life and I know my God will grant it because this is a promise to those who seek it.

I can't really remember not having some kind of Christian influence in my life, so I really don't know on this one.

Nothing has changed my life to the better than the moment I became a Christian. I have now the best reason to live, and a great reason to die. My mind has suddenly been opened and I became a free man for the first time. And ever since.
