Welllll not exactly. But, I've been around long enough (since December 2000) to say that it has been one of my more positive and enjoyable Internet experiences.

If joining a site makes you feel better about yourself, that's fine. But your a somebody, whether you join RIA or not.

Good place to rate thing, but it has become a boring site, not a place for fun at all.

Joining RIA had no bearing on my becoming somebody although I do find the site entertaining and an opportunity for me to share my thoughts.

Considering I was already a Marine Corporal, a world traveler, a halfway decent trombone player, and an all around fun MF'er before RIA, I feel a one coming on. RIA just lets me share my cool with people that would otherwise never have the chance to sample it...
