Not much I can add to the Johnny Grubb story. A pretty good hitter with a little power, decent fielder, but nothing spectacular. He was just one of those blue collar guys that quietly did his job well.

2.5 Reserve outfielder/ pinch hitter/ semiregular type, had a pretty decent and fairly long career and used to kill the Red Sox while with this team and Detroit, as did another guy who spent some time here: Bill Stein.
