Doesn't reveal anything new about someone who came out of Chicago politics. McCain's corruption is more surprising and hypocritical: the money that donors gave to his "Reform Institute" in the belief that it was promoting campaign-finance reform actually went back to his own campaign!!! Read the story in Harper's. Ouch.

This would be a very serious reason if Obama's opponent wasn't involved with even bigger crooks.

One advantage, perhaps the only advantage, of today`s hyper-intense media scrutiny of candidates for high office is that it does bring up stuff like this.

What has been clear for years (centuries if you read a little history) is that the close friends and associates of the President often have considerable influence and say in public policy, even though they are neither elected nor accountable. While, in and of itself, a candidates friends are not a sole reason to vote for or against him, it does raise some questions.

You cannot be completely clean to go to the top echelons of power. But, the amount of the first-class criminals is growing in the Obama's friends' circle. And this is just beginning. All these findings are made in spite of almost uniform media support for Obama.

You gotta know about Chicago to be in the know about this mope. He is a major league crook who is on trial for various acts of crime, corruption, malfeasance and maybe sheep buggery, for all I know.

Anyhow he has poured munificence on Barack Hussein, if you get the drift.

The media are so much in the tank for Hussein, that I doubt much will come of it until the historians dig in.

How funny the US press is in burying nearly every appropriate inquiry into Obama's past. Almost like a squad of cheerleaders. Hillary Clinton has to play the odd and unfamiliar role of "truthteller" to the American people. This is not a reason for me not to vote for Obama. This is a reason to mock the faux objectivity of the liberal media, although it has been enjoyable to hear both Hill and Bill whine about unfair press treatment.
