One-sixth of everyone in the world is a Muslim, and a good amount of the billion or so out there treat it as a peaceful, nonviolent religion (some do, some don't, like any of the big three).
If Obama wants to be a Muslim, Christian, Jew, Neo-Pagan, African Tribal Belief-follower, Zoroastrian, etc. I fail to see how it would effect his policies, which generally seem separate from his faith (that of generic American Christianity/Baptist).

06/19/2008 | Definitely, he is not a secret muslim, while some of his contacts and money sources do look suspicious. But, as louiethe20th pointed out, the Black Liberation Theology is equally bad. Actually, the same as white supermacist theory.

I'm happy to attribute this rumor: I heard it on the Cobert Report, and he's not allowed to lie. I have no idea what a "secret muslim" is, of course, but it sounds Bad.

He is just an articulate black Christian from Chicago whom the democrat party and MSNBC, CNN, NY Times and the rest of the alphabet soup media have propped up on a hollow wave of momentum toward his coronation in Denver. The only republican on the entire planet who could possibly lose to this guy is. . . (oh, no! ) . . . John McCain. Damn.
