05/27/2008 | Miranda Lambert has better songs, and is much more talented than Carrie Underwood, who actually won this award. But Underwood has the exposure from American Idol, therefore everyone loves her, so she won instead. I think Miranda Lambert should win this award eventually, but she'll have to wait until Underwood's artificially inflated status from Idol wears off.
