It might be trite and tasteless to say this, but I really wish that The Roadrunner
had pissed off Charles Manson a little over 40 years ago.

I hated that bastard. Didn't you always want Wile E to catch that damn bird? I did lol.

I guess it was funny the first few times I saw it, but it got so old, so fast, that I started rooting for the coyote. This was a sad waste of precious time that I will never get back!

road runner is boring. he just runns around and goes beep beep. wil e coyote is dumb enough to hurt himself the road runner never has to do anything.

I like Road Runner. I think that Wyle E. Coyote deserves everything he gets for trying to capture the roadrunner.

I am in total agreement with the irishgit, it is high time the road runner got his ! I cannot stand him.....I feel so bad for Wyle E Coyote ! :(

The protagonist which was never the highlight of the show, but there had to be something cute and innocent (well, his innocence is questionable) for Wile E. to try to get to. Poor, ill-fated Wile E. Coyote, if he hadn't been so loyal to the Acme brand, he might have caught this guy by now. The Road Runner, albeit cute, is just a co-star to Wile E. Coyote.

A great character.

Note that I am giving the same rating and the same review to both Wile E. Coyote and Roadrunner... I feel that the two cannot be separated, and you cannot rightfully have one without the other, as the total of the individual parts is nowhere near as good as the value of the two combined. Now that I've confused everyone... Roadrunner really doesn't have much of a personality, or if he does, it's never really shown... all we know about him is that Wile E. Coyote wants to catch him. Wile E. Coyote is really the character the cartoons focus on, the anti-hero as he is sometimes appropraitely called. He seems to be intelligent, though luck just is never on his side. Granted, you'd think Wile E. would have learned after all these years to avoid the ACME company, but even when ACME's not involved, luck just simply isn't on his side. In fact, just plain physics isn't on Wile E. Coyote's side on some occasions, such as where Roadrunner runs through a tunnel painted on a cliff, or where a bridge doesn't fall when Wile E. cuts the support ropes... Of course, it's good for us that he ISN'T able to catch the Roadrunner, or the cartoons couldn't continue.

Road Runner’s whole purpose of existence was to be the target for the Coyote’s master plans. Funny though, without the Coyote Road Runner would not have existed. As a character, he was only a supporting cast member, which he played well. There was a slight bit of personality, but for the most part you were left feeling he was just on the opposite end of the luck spectrum from Wile E.
