05/20/2008 | Davis had had some excellent years earlier in the 60's with the Dodgers, but injuries curtailed his effectiveness and he became something of a vagabond. Still, for career value, he and Tommy Harper had the best careers of any Pilots, and Davis was probably the biggest name on the squad.
