Oh yes...when I moved there eons ago, I was shunned worse than any other place I lived.  I never have trouble making friends but they didnt let me be me....they wanted the "yankee" to conform to fit in. Some made comments like...ah, maybe you need to give in a little... When I moved to Oklahoma a little bit later, they were the opposite....

Its a kind of ass backwards sort of snob, for sure. Almost an anti-snob who snobs against being... a snob.

Possibly the most obnoxious and pathetic snob known to man. Will bore you to death with endless reminders of his wealth, prowess, and success, as well as an endless stream of dirty/racist jokes. The easiest way to avoid the Texan snob is simply to stay away from any fat man in a cowboy hat.
