I do like to read. It's better than sitting in front of the TV for hours on end. There are a lot of good authors out there. But just like with anything else, I weed out the trash and decide what is worth my time reading.

I love to read but don't do it as much as I once did. Mainly this is due to the eye strain caused from being on a computer all day.

Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside a dog it's too dark to read. - Groucho Marx.

The only thing I read are almanacs and google news but in terms of books, you can assume for yourself, no way....that's why the Mark Linn-Baker autobiography is listed in my profile.

I do kinda get bored if I sit around and read all the time. I like to do interactive things like the internet.

I absolutely love to read. I have a love/hate relationship with the internet in terms of relaxation. A good book or magazine is a different story. That is what is wrong with kids today they act like having to read something is like getting a root canal.

I'm not a big reader, but if there's a really good book, I'll read it.

I used to read so much, but stoped when my son was born. I didn't sleep so much, and I couldn't concentrate on books (I hate to read something and then think about it and don't know what I really readed). When he died I started reading another time, and now I spend a lot of time each day reading, it's so much better than see tv.

I used to read writers like Aristophanes, Gogol, and Stephen Crane...but why read that stupid shit when you can come here and read HELLZ TO THE NAW and I LIKE TO SNIFF GLUE and essays on, say, Hendrix that are marvels of brevity and simplicity-and say things like "Him pretty good me hear but my cousin he hate me but he say he might rock I havent' herd him but them say he pretty good anywayhows lol..."

I love to read. one of my favorite past times. my idea of shopping is walking past the clothing stores and heading for the book stores. nice and relaxing for me. especially on a warm sunny day when I can sit outside and read a book.

Voracious. I'll read anything, usually two to four books at a time, with magazines, newspapers and websites to fill in the gaps.
XAgent 05/23/2008
Not as much as I used to be but I do break out with a book now and than.

Literature, history, sports, and a few theology texts when I'm really in the mood for the humorous side of humanity. Although cookbooks are a recent fave. . .

I can be. If I can muster the time and patience, then yes, I love to read. It depends on the reading material too.
GenghisTheHun 05/22/2008
I am a reader, but I spend too much time on the 'net.
