Doesn't bother me in the least, but be careful...people like McGowan and doorgunner might suggest that you have to pay a tax for having long hair- in the concentration camp.

As someone who has been bald for twenty five years, the fact that he has hair at all offends me.

Hey...I grew up in the 60's and 70's.  I've visually/vicariously experienced pompadours, French twists, early Beatles, disco hair, Afros, mall hair, poodle band curly, Cher and Morticia straight, Shag, Punk, convict/military buzzes, mulleted, dyed, bleached, tinted, taunted, ratted, and teased.  In other words Ive come to accept pretty much anything when it comes to coiffeurs.  Very little of it would actually offend me. (Okay a mullet might do the trick - but I can take everything else in stride.) 

Long hair is ok. Just don't put it in a mangy ponytail. I'm not keen on men with ponytails.

It offends a surprisingly large number of people, especially considering this new invasion of really bad hair associated with "emo" music which has invaded our long-suffering shores...
