Ultra Wheels Instinct 4

For the price I paid for these skates, I think they are quite good. I've had no problem with them other than being a bit tight across my foot, but I have a wide foot so after removing some of the padding inside, I found them to be ok. The wheels are good and grippy, the bearings are Twincam abec 3's and are very fast. I have not had any trouble with these skates, no broken parts, no parts falling off, whatever. As an introduction to inline skating, I think they make a good first choice. Only criticism I have is the total unavailability of spares, ie: brake blocks within Australia. I contacted ultra wheels in the U.S and got fobbed off with a load of lip, seems they are interested only in selling you a pair of skates, but you are on your own when it comes to parts. So, the product is great for the price, but after sales service is non existant which means if you live where I do, the life expectancy of a pair of ultrawheels skates is determined by the life expectancy of the brake block. Shame on you ultrawheels.

I bought these because they were on sale. They're a good budget skate, but they fall apart quickly. It's also hard to find replacement parts, as opposed to Rollerblade and Bauer. My axels were bent up and parts of the wheels chipped off.

Another poorly designed skate. One of the wheels fell off and I pulled my groin.
