I think the real problem is too many things with an on/off switch.

I beat the alternative energy issue around ten years ago. That's when I met Stark...

No idea. Put this on Ridge's desk, he'll get to it when he figures out a way to get to Neptune by mixing artichoke hearts with selenium.

Wrong. The sources are out there in great abundance. The problem is political and economical. The powers to be will lose their influence and wealth if there were a political will to actually take advantage of the free and renewable sources of energy and end for good our dependency on oil. On the other hand, I have a hunch that the whole oil crisis is artificial and aimed at encouraging the development of alternative energy resources. with the current oil prices, the prospect of solar power stations and wind mills become more and more attractive and economically feasible.

Too little. Maybe too late as well.

Yes, solar panels and wind turbines can be placed on public and private buildings, homes, churches, schools, etc. Also, wind turbines can be made to blend into the existing enviroments or be decorative, almost like art!
