Very funny and groovy,too. I'll never forget the ending; "You gave the monster half of your brain,darling,what did you get out of it?"....."OH,SWEET MYSTERY OF LIFE HOW I ADORE YOU"!!!

Peter Boyle-great as the monster but he was much scarier in Everybody Loves Raymond...

This is the first movie I remember seeing in a theater and it's just as good today as it was then. Maybe even better because I get more of the jokes than I did when I was six.
