A good show with some really great moments. Three of the best can be summed up for me in the following lines...

Come on walk with me, talk with me. ~ Andy Kauffman as Vic Ferrari

What......does......a...... yellow......light......mean. ~ Christopher Lloyd as Rev. Jim

Everybody works on Moonlight Bay. ~ Danny DiVito as Louie DePalma

Detreactors will note that the show gave us Tony Danza, that Jeff Conaway was a poor man's John Travolta from the era and that Judd Hirsch's portrayal of a sensitive intellectual cabbie rang false.

But the show also brought terrific comic talents Christopher Lloyd, Danny DeVito and Andy Kaufman to the world.

The scales are tipped in favour of the show by the very memorable performance every week of tailoring of Mary-Lou Henner's slacks.

Better when they added one of my all time favorite actors-Christopher Lloyd!

I was 14 in 1978 when this came out, and I really enjoyed it. I really liked Tony Danza. I think he was good for this show.
