The Stones were still Groovy throughout the 70s. "Some Girls" was the end of that era. They made a few decent songs afterwards,but nothing like the golden era from mid sixties to 79.

Great band in their day!! They had some great hits and always performed well up till a few years ago when they should have stuck with their zimmer frames/walkers. ;)

The Stones basically managed to stretch the 60's to about 1972 before sliding into a burnt-out pile of pickled human remains. They were taken off life support in about 1978 and to everyone's surprise they survived!
