I have owned three Lowe backpacks over the past 15 years and still use all of them regularly. I wouldn't buy any other brand.

I work in the outdoor industry and have tried many packs. This one is a great size for day and weekend use. The shoulder snaps are comfortable, there is plenty of room for everything, and it can be compressed effectively. My only complaint is that the zipper to the main compartment is somewhat cumbersome.

A very solid, basic pack. Good for all around use. A good value.

It is not too heavy, has easy access, lightweight, and fits well on my back. Also, a good sized pack.

I regard highly the Lowe contour mountain 40 pack. It evenly distributes weight, has a combined pad for the lower back, and has lots of straps to attach gear. The only thing missing is a camel back. I mean, you can drink water while climbing!

A nice backpack. Robust, but still light. Plenty of room for dayhikes, but still handy and easy to carry.

A great pack for mountain bikers, and scramblers. The storage and comfort make this pack a must have for quick moves.
