These are great shoes. They look cool and they have a low base. They have very good support.

These shoes are good, they are light and well cushioned. You can run for long periods without discomfort.

Asics have NO support and cause shin splints for most runners. I HATE these shoes and advise everyone not to buy them.

These tennis shoes are very light. They are very comfortable and endure forever. I can wash in the washing machine and they're still brand new. I love them.

Asics are not the coolest looking shoe around. It is pretty expensive. But as far as a good running shoe, Asics take the prize. They are made for serious runners. I have had a couple pairs of Asics and my last pair was the 2042. This shoe was really great. They lasted a long time, they endured a lot of running and gave me great support. They have a gel heel which helped me a lot since I pound my heels when I run so that extra support really helped. They are also narrow shoes which I need since I have narrow feet. If you want a shoe made for running and not to look cool, Asics are the one.
