I don't think it was cancelled, it was whacked by it's producer.

Most people will disagree with me, but I was glad the Sopranos was cancelled. I didn't watch the show and frankly, I was sick of all the hype. Everyone would talk about it, and I never thought it was all that great from the few episodes I caught.
