Gilmore Girls 5

  I think this is the one that kills me the most. Gilmore Girls is one of my all-time favorite shows, I guess probably because I could relate to the characters so much. I was Rory Gilmore - ambitious, hard-working college student, just trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life, and living through regular day-to-day issues, alongside my mother/best friend, who helps me along the way and supports me no matter what. I watched Gilmore Girls every week to see what happened to Rory and to see how it matched up with what I was going through. In a way, I felt lost when Gilmore Girls was cancelled - who was I to model myself after anymore? Ok, maybe that's a little dramatic, but I was sad - really, really sad.

Now I watch Gilmore re-runs everyday on the ABC Family channel, just hoping to find a lost episode that I might have missed. I could watch every episode over and over again (and I do), and I really never get sick of the storylines. Gilmore Girls should come back - pick up right where they left off. *sigh* A girl can dream, can't she?
