I look for two things for a taqueria if I go there before 10PM; 1) turnover; and 2) cleanliness. If it's after 10PM, #2 becomes less important. La Altena has both - it's a clean, well run place with plenty of turnover. The carne asada is solid, though they don't seem to put as much meat in the burritos as they do at say, Buen Sabor. This is a good spot to hit if you find yourself up in the 20-24th streets zone.
