I guess that would be it. I don't really remember that barely. With him being so political and wording everything to sound like he means it, I would wonder why he would say that. I guess out of character or he thought it would sound cool.

He's trying to appeal young AND appeal to minorities at the same time. Apparently he couldn't do both at the same time. He came out looking like a bit of a douche, which in the final analysis was the downfall of his campaign.

Along with the Hillary Clinton drawl-talking, this was the single most cringe-inducing moment on the campaign trail. Though Clinton's might seem worse because it was clearly planned ahead of time, Romney's was more awkward because in that moment he genuinely thought he was going to make black people like him.
