American Dreams was another one of those great shows the whole family could watch. I didn't watch it consistently, but when I did catch it, I watched with both my parents and we all liked it a lot. The show not only was fun (I know it made me want to dance on American Bandstand!), but it dealt with real issues of the 1960s, such as interracial dating/friendships. Good show, sad it's not on anymore.

An excellent family show that dealt with the turbulent 1960's from a teenage girl who danced for American Bandstand to her brother who served and was injured in the Vietnam war. I hated to see it get canceled.
