I was more saddened by this than I expected- Winston gave us the monsters that we all grew up with.  He was the special effects guy behind films such as The Terminator, Edward Scissorhands, Predator (great work), Aliens, and Jurassic Park- just to name a few.  Stan's work was underrated when you consider the volume of his special-effects work.  CS was a little saddened by the loss of an artist who gave joy to zillions of moviegoers.

I had no clue who this guy was until hearing about his death lately. Seems like an interesting guy from his obit.
