Pros Bright airy barn, good size box stalls (though not all have a window and the ceilings are lower than normal. Wouldn't recomend for any horse over 17hh) Nice turnout areas. Was told the big field was going to be fenced off to be used as a grazing pasture. Quite a bit of storage for tack, hay etc. (HUGE hay loft) Outdoor riding ring on the smaller side but still adequate for schooling on the flat. Owners and manager are fantastic people!! Will bend over backwards for their boarders and their horses. Knowledgeable, horse savvy people. Easy to talk to/approach with concerns. Never have to worry about my horse being taken care of properly. DRAMA FREE!! Make sure you bring a sense of humor. If you don't enjoy good conversation and have a dry sense of humor/are more on the severely strict side, you would not be happy here :) The Owners' horses are very well cared for and loved, you can tell that their horses are more than 'just horses' they're part of the family.Cons Farm is located on a main byway (Route 9) A perimeter fence is being put in place as a 'buffer'. But it is still a concern for me. No onsight instructor, though the manager is quite knowledgeable and helpful if you need a few pointers or insight.
