I didn't really see Koufas play much, so they might have wasted that pick a little bit.

Kosta Koufos is a very good selection at this point in the draft. He is a good shooter, especially for a big man. However, he also has a decent array of interior moves as well. He isn't a lightweight for his height either, and I'm sure he'll toughen up a bit as he matures. He is only 19, so he probably needs a few more years before he becomes close to his potential. As a legit 7 footer with a good shooting touch, he seems like the type of guy who will be in the NBA for a long time. The Jazz also acquired the rights to a couple of European big guys in the 2nd round, which is always a decent play since there is little to lose if they never come over or don't pan out.

Great potential. Nice shooting touch, with potential to develop into a good defensive presence in the paint.
