These things saved me a couple fo diffrent time in Panama. Great traction, the teeth relly grip into the mud. I wish the soles were just a tad more flexible but on the whole they're great. About 4 years ago the Asolo had a heel stablizer that flared and acted like a brake when you statred to slide forward. I really miss that. A bit more expensive then the very simliar Tiberlands but I would definlty by them again.

Hiked all of Isle Royale in them. Have quite a bite if not broken in properly. Use plenty of moleskin.

I am very satisfied with my Asolo boots. The leather is very good quality and the construction is also good for keeping water out of the boots. They are comfortable, and provide enough resistance to keep my feet from slipping around or moving inside the boot.

The best boot I have ever worn also the only boot I have worn! I really like the GOrtex. One day last week I emerged my foot int the water and it stayed dry. Amazing!

These boots are well-made and have good, strong, and sturdy soles. They're breatheable and don't give your feet blisters when you're on long hikes.

A decent boot, lightweight. They fit me well but they are a little narrow for a lot of people. Good for middle of the road backpacking. A little too, how do you say, trendy perhaps for me but a good boot.
