It's not something I'm really planning on, but if I want to, I can watch them from my front yard.

I took them in on our national holiday - Canada Day - July 1st. I almost always plan the holiday around finishing up with fireworks. And it's not uncommon to be close enough to the border to catch them on the 4th as well. I've seen them on the 1st in Victoria, BC; Kenora, Toronto and Ottawa, Ontario; Quebec City, Quebec; St John, Newfoundland; Winnipeg, Killarney, Gimli, Winnipeg Beach and Sperling, Manitoba, off the top of my head. I've taken in July 4th fireworks in Minneapolis, Detroit Lakes and Warroad, Minnesota and Walhalla, Rolla and Fargo North Dakota that I can think of. I love 'em. My dog, on the other hand fears that the apocalypse is at hand.

If watching one out of the window of a house counts that's what I am doing. They have a 3 night fireworks show at Greenfield Village going on that started on the 2nd.

My kids will be with their Mom on the 4th. As such, I see no point in Going to a show. Will probably set a few of My own off though.

I love fireworks on the 4th, but I'm not sure what my plans will be for the evening. I'm sure that some place local near my family's homes will be setting them off.

I'm not a big fireworks fan. When I lived in Little Rock, I didn't have to go downtown to see the fireworks display, because I lived only a mile away. I could just stand outside my building and watch the fireworks streak across the sky.

I've never been big on firework shows, they're OK, but it's more fun to set off your own. Unfortunately I'm out of the country, so no fireworks, professional or amateur.
