I don't think either candiate is any good. McCain is too Bush like, but I hate Obama's voting record. He is way way too liberal for my liking. I might vote independent or write in Angus Young's name, lol. I fear McCain a lot less than Obama and it has nothing to do with color of skin.

I'm hoping this comes true, that he will be our next President and that he'll be able to follow through on his promise of change from politics as usual. Bipartisanship is the only way we're going to be able to get Congress to work together, and the President sets the tone for that. I think Obama fully intends to promote and encourage bipartisanship, but the question is whether the Republicans in Congress will cooperate for the good of our whole country, not resist because of narrow partisan political interests.

Obama could lose the election, although I don't think it's likely. A lot can happen between now and November, but it sure looks he has it won. But he'll be doing it without my vote.

It may or may not happen. American people have no say in it, since Presidents are not elected by popular vote majority. There are powers that are taking care of the issue.

I think he will definitely win unless some Monica Lewinsky scandal erupts.

I see an interesting race shaping up. In McCain the Republicans picked the only candidate in the party who can credibly distance himself from the last 8 years. Hillary would have had a tough time facing down a Republican maverick with her own personal stake in the power structure as it stands. But Obama will be able to effectively package his lack of experience as a ticket to a new promised land. Sure those are empty words, but no more so than "It's Morning Again in America" or "Read My Lips, No New Taxes". McCain as the candidate who would become the oldest person in history to be elected US President will look very tired by November next to Obama.
