This is a real gem in Denver's lower Highlands neighborhood. You'll almost always find one of the owners behind the counter. I anxiously waited for Masterpiece to open and have been there pretty much every week since then. A particular awesome menu item is the Cubano, although the smoked turkey is a close second. Masterpiece has a cool location at the foot of the I-25 pedestrian bridge, a quick pedal from the Platte River bike path and a stroll from downtown. On a nice day, check out the patio. They even set out water for your four-legged lunch companions.
