Awesome coffee and drinks... great coffee shop atmosphere... slow lunch service. Paris on the Platte has long been a favorite haunt for Denverites -- especially college students. Their drinks - my favorite is the almond milk (nice caramelized top) - are superb and a great way to warm up on a snowy Denver day. I also really enjoy their pizza. But, have to say that the lunch service on the few times I've checked them out is pretty slow. If you have some time, it's worth the wait. The atmosphere is classic coffee shop pre-Starbucks invasion. Grab a table and use their free internet to set up shop for a few hours. Order a pitcher of hot chocolate or coffee and a pastry and you'll be set for a productive caffeinated afternoon.
