Parrots are much smarter than dogs and cats. About the same on the messy scale. And they fly and talk.

Parrot is my all time favorite. Very easy to train them. I would like to spend a lot of time with them.

Our cockatoo rocks. Sure, he has tantrums and he's bitten me three times, but his conversational skills are coming along and his dancing is funny.
