But I've had one friend die recently from one. 

Yes I did. Around an hour ago, Ari reminded that, exactly two years ago, on this very day, I saw the light...the white light that burns a hole in your brain like a blow torch. I had no idea what was happening to me; I thought I had the flu and a back spasm, so I treated it like that and walked around for three days(!)...even reviewed here...while I was having it. Amazing. The doktors slammed Stark for not getting me in, right away. But, it wasn't her fault. It came down to critical mass, when I found myself sliding down a wall as I called Stark. I remember my words: "I....can't....take...it...any...more..."

One of the hightlights that I can remember was joking around with the Cath Lab surgeon, Dr Al Amin, who did a great job bringing me back to life. Another highlight came when abichara listened to my story and pointed me in the right direction (Chelation), which, ultimately, allowed me to throw all of my meds away, learn how to take care of myself and return to normalcy. For that, I will be ever grateful to abichara...
