Well, I trimmed it. In leaner days I saved money any way I could, and trimming my own hair wasn't the worst thing I did.

Shaved my head once or twice. The whole platoon did it to be moto and crap for a field op. Little did we realize it was just a way to get a sunburned head...

I didn't cut it significantly enough for it to really be a totally different haircut. It more or less was so that I could trim off some dry split ends. Unless you were trained how to do it, it is a recipe for D-I-S-A-S-T-E-R.

In third grade I was bored in class and used the scissors in my desk to cut the top of my hair. My mom eventually noticed I had done some trimming, but I've never given myself a proper cut.
