There's plenty of evil in this world, and all of it is carried out for destructive purposes. Destruction of God's Creation is Satan's top agenda item--his aim from the beginning of human history was to bring it all down and he's been working hard at it for a long time. Nothing good ever comes from wars, famine, destruction of human life in general. Self-destructive tendencies are something that we need to resist.

Humans are capable of doing great deeds, but in order to build ourselves towards that aim, we have to reject those evil tendencies that undermine individuals, communities and societies in general.

I have to laugh about this topic. "Facts" about a fictional character. How absurd. You might as well be making opinions about Captain Ahab's pegleg or Gomer Pyle's messkit.

Jealous for God's love for His Creation, especially, His love for men, Satan will do whatever he can to destroy it. And he fights 24/7.
