Awesome beach. Very clear water backed by mountainous jungles and coconut trees in the background. Very soft sand as well. Many regard this as one of the best beaches in the world, and I concur. Definitely very idyllic. 3/4th's of the island of St. John is a national park, so it's extraordinarily pristine. It's accessible by ferry from St. Thomas, The ride takes about an hour and you get scenic views of both islands and the British Virgin Islands along the way too.

I have been to Hawaii, South Carolina, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, Florida, and several different beaches in the USVI, but this is by far the best beach I have ever seen! Absolutely breathtaking! Pristine water and beautiful sand and trees.
