The best ever Jeffrey Tambor show!!! It was clever, witty, fun to watch and about 20 years ahead of it's time.

Brilliant? He was a digital pioneer, but by virtue of being at the fore of new technology destined to be obsolete in a matter of months. I haven't seen him in years (decades?) but would bet that it would be a quaint curiosity to look at. I'd also be interested in hearing some of the period context of the stuff he talked about. Probably a very good period timecapsule piece.

As wacky and unusual as he was at the time - Max was doomed to age quickly and burn out fast. He was only as good as he was unique and his audience's attention spans were long. Looking back, maybe the most amazing thing about this techno-toon is that it lasted as long as it did.

I don't remember much about it, considering I was six when it was canceled, but I know I liked it.
