I had a short flirt with Maple Story. I was definitely attracted to the 2d gameplay considering how unique it is in this day and age, and of course the fact that it was free. There were tons of players online, and while the game consisted mostly of grinding and somewhat boring quests, I did not get far into it at all, and to my knowledge, all MMORPGs start out pretty slow. The level cap is 200, which is really quite high. I stopped playing because it was just too time consuming.
