I drink it when I eat chinese. I kind of like the subtle taste, but I didn't know it was supposed to be good for me.

Green tea is loaded with antioxidants, as LJF has said, but what's even more important is that it had a class of antioxidants that aren't found in fruits, veggies, or powerful supplements like calcium ascorbate (Vitamin C), A, D or E.
Most Americans haven't acquired a taste for tea of any kind on a regular basis, but I have found that it makes a great base for a home made fruit drink or a smoothie. I go through around a litre of it on a daily basis...mostly with just honey or agave nectar and it's usually the last thing that I consume every night...sometimes with brandy and lemon...

Tea has a lot of antioxidants to begin with, but green tea has a much higher level of it, and is much better for you. I really like the taste of green tea. It has a smooth taste.
