They did an amazing job picking me up, wrapping all of my items for FREE which was a big deal maker from me. I checked them out at the bbb and chamber of commerce and in comparing with other companies they were by far the best. The only thing that I didnt like was that i didnt find them the last time i moved;-)I just wanted to let ppl know that sometimes things happen, but this is a company that overall really appreciates its customers and looks for referal business. I would trust them with any of my friends business as well. Thank you New Planet Moving!]

I have to say they did awesome for my move. The owner (who i see was mentioned in another form on another review--) anyway the owner actually came out to do my visual estimate, it was due to the fact thier estimator was out of town. he was so sweet he even played with my dog lol anyway he gave me a great rate way better than the major companies, i have to admit i looked up reviews but i asked him and every one he knew about personally. the thing that told me is that he was trying to satisfy all of his customers even the mad ones. we also talked about the amount of business that they did and i will tell you what go ahead and look around because in comparisson to evryone else (which was like 10 companies, somehow i filled out something that had my email full daily) but anyway they had way less negative and way more positive than anyone else. so i went with them everything was great they gave me a ton of materials that were included in my rate and that price didnt change, its hard to belive others add things and expect not to pay more, but i told him what was going and he gave me a final rate. also they never mentioned rate on cubes which i donit know what that is. bottom line is they were great i recommend them, and they have my refereal just ask someone and they can give you my info, i dont wanna post it herethank you new planet movers and moses take care

This was the WORST experience I have ever had!!! I hired New Planet and they sent First Choice Movers. I did NOT want First Choice Movers but that is who showed up at my door on moving day!!! If New Planet gives you an estimate, regardless of whether it is by weight or anything else... make sure you choose BINDING ESTIMATE or you WILL get screwed!!! Please don't make this mistake. Also, if you call New Planet, they will only keep transferring you over to whatever movers THEY decide to hire. DO NOT USE THEM!!! Do your research and move on. They act nice and quote you something low and then in the end you end up paying a lot. Go to movingscam.com and follow their advice!!! Good Luck!

I'm not going to get in to too much detail about what happened to me, but I will tell you to keep looking! If you are willing to take a chance on this company I feel for you and you're better off playing Russian roulette. They will lie through their teeth and low ball you so you agree for the move. After your personal belongings are picked up it all goes down hill and the same nice person that you were low balled by doesn't have time to talk to you or call you back when the price almost doubles value after pick up and weighing. The whole process was a circus. They never knew when my belongings would arrive and chose to play games on the phone with me when I would call and say that they didn't tell me certain promises and that they didn't know who I was. I had two pieces that I had issues with. One completely lost. The other of high value broken. Good thing I was insured with them. Their insurance policy(if their liable) will give you 60 cents for every pound. YES, 60 cents per lb. It gets better when after multiple phone calls and headaches later they somehow found themselves not liable for either one of my items and for lack of better words pretty much told me to screw off. I proceeded to have a phone conversation with the president of the company, who no surprise was the most unprofessional one of the pack and proceeded to tell me that I was wrong for being upset and that they weren't responsible for my items. I told him that I was going to fill reports on them, and his response was "Oh, you here me shaking!". He proceeded to tell me to go back to where I was from and to not call them again screaming and hanging up on me! I have never given a bad review or many good reviews on companies on a public site in my life but I will do so if it will have an effect on someone's decision to protect themselves! It would be a crime for my story to go untold to another individual looking to move their belongings. I'll close with this as I said in the beginning, keep looking and go with a well renowned company! It's well worth every penny and giving them the business. These are your personal belongings and are worth much more than 60 cents a pound!!! God knows that you won't even get that!

So, I moved from Vegas to Seattle. I used the phone book, (yes, I am ancient & still use one of those things!) and called the big ads. I had movers come to my home & walk through & tell me their shpiel. I assumed their "first" contact with me would be a good indication of what I could expect from their company. Valid assumption, right ? The "van line" reps that were sent out were ..well, just plain scary.. I realize it's hot in Vegas, but to show up to my house sweaty & smelly seemed unprofessional to me. Also, reeking of smoke & wearing sweat stained clothing made me cringe. Yet, Joseph was dry & smelled good & seemed knowledgeable. All of the estimates were near eachother in weight & price range, so I opted for the mover that gained my trust, New Planet Moving & Storage. After reading all of the horror stories online, I also did my research, and learned that they were members in good standing with the BBB & AMSA. I drove by their location & saw alot of their trucks, so I knew their promise of not subcontracting was probably true. I called Joseph the next day & reserved my dates. When the move day arrived, the movers came when they said they would, wearing company t-shirts & in their own company truck. The loading went quickly, and they wrapped & labeled all of my furniture. I paid my 40% by cashiers check, was provided my driver's cell phone number, and was told it would be to me in Seattle by the end of the week. On thursday, I received a call from my driver that one of the other customers on the truck had experienced a problem gaining access to their home, and that put him behind a little bit, so instead of being there on friday afternoon, he'd be there saturday morning. No biggie to me, I thanked him for keeping me informed, and planend on seeing him saturday. On saturday morning, just as promised. the same driver & crew & truck that loaded me arrived to deliver me. They were quick, and as we did the inventory list as my goods were being placed, I was happy to see nothing missing, and no damages. They put my bed back together again & even rearranged in my bedroom twice until I was satisfied. (that thing is heavy!). The total weight was within a few hundred pounds of what Joseph had predicted, and I only paid what his estimate charged. All in all, it was a great move, and I'd recommend these guys to anyone that needs a good move at a fair price. ** On a side note, one of my coworkers also relocated up here from Vegas, and used one the major van lines from there. Her goods took 3 weeks to get here, along with a story about it being peak season & our drivers being overfilled. Come to find out, her stuff sat in their warehouse because they couldn't get a driver to take it for the price they sold it to her for.. I guess their drivers are not employed by the company, but are independant operators & can pick & choose which moves they want to deliver? Scary!***

They did an awesome job! After reading the reviews on here I have to admit I was a little nervous about moving with this company. But I had already reserved my move, by the time I did so I figured oh well lets see what happens. Well I had an estimate for 10,000lbs, I have a 3 bedroom home. The movers did a great job, wrapping packing and all. We went to the scale, and ended up only having about 8,000lbs. So when the accountant from thier office called to tell me that I will have to pay $500 less than quoted I was not only happy, but shocked. Could this be the same company I had read about? Well it was. The same Joe hat was metioned in another review, was the sweetest thing. I cant help but think these people must have had more to thier story. So I guess I just wanted to say great job New Planet you proved my thoughts, and these reviews to be wrong! In the best possible way at that

I would never recommend both ABS Moving or New Planet Moving companies. December 21st the movers came, and I had told them about my quote estimate and how I had less items to now ship. They said it would not be a problem and I would be reimbursed for the difference. I had to fax my credit card number, social security number, and a written signature to them stating it was alright for them to use my charge card before my stuff was even picked up for the move. On the day of the 28th, I called and asked when to expect the movers. A man named Moses told me that they did not charge my card and that I now had to pay a higher amount and in cash on arrival, yet they still had ALL of my information and I was not going to be reimbursed at all. My stuff was promised between the 26th and 28th of December. It is now January 8th and instead of my items being here, everyday I have had to call and ask when the arrival date would be, yet they just say we will be there in the morning of the next day. This has been going on for a weeks time, with different excuses stating they could not drive on the Holy Day, that there was a mix up of trucks, or that the weather was too much. They also took extra items that I had specifically asked them to not touch, probably in the hopes of getting more money out of me. THESE WEBSITES ARE SCAMS. PLEASE CHOOSE YOUR MOVING COMPANY WISELY!!!!

They did a great job, and gave me a lower price on delivery than I was planning on!! I was so impressed with the professionalism of the crew and they are just great. I had a small scratch on my coffee table, but they were able to find a furniture repair shop for me in Montana, and getr it repaired for me at no additional cost. The owner is Moses he was so sweet. I will recommend anyone to use this company. Thanks Guys!

The worst company & move I have ever had. If you go with this company make sure you have your items weighed before calling them, so you wont be paying more. All I had was a bed, 2 tvs & stands, a sofa, 15 boxes and 2 book shelves (which they damaged). Make sure you pay for on-time delivery even if Tom tells you, you do not need it because the New Planet can promise the next day delivery.I had several items damaged during my move and the manager "Joe" refused to talk to me and sent me to a claims department on the east coast, I live on the west coast. The moving company did not give me all the paperwork needed to file a claim and now they refuse to answer my e-mails and phone calls. Now I have to file a complaint to the American Moving and Storage Association. Thanks New Planet Moving Co.
