Musharraf Resigns 4

It's big news, one way or another.  My personal opinion is that this needed to happen - Musharraf did not have the support of the country and was in many ways weakening the democratic spirit of Pakistan.  I'm also encouraged that the Pakistani stock market has gone up with the news - if investors saw increased instability coming, that wouldn't happen.

I guess it all comes down to what fills the void now that Musharraf is gone.
