If the smell of a rotting fruit cart calls to you this is exactly what you get, along with some other pungent sweet accords. Wear it on a hot summer day and I sure you can attract the flies as well.

I used it in the eighties and it was okay. Either it has changed or it was never that good. The dry down is bad, the smell is way too strong. and to top that my wife got a sore throat after smelling it!

my very favorite cologne of all times. to me, it smells like it's name. it smells like an expensive hand tailored suit. i haven't worn it in a long time as i only have about 4-5 uses left, but now that i know i can still buy it on the net if not in stores, i'll be wearing it today. i'm not impressed with too many of the similar fruit salad colognes i smelled recently. grey flannel smells classy and DEFINATELY not like anyone else wearing a top 10 cologne. reagrdless of what women may or may not think of it... i feel sexy wearing it.

My girlfriend (of olden days) use to just say, OH MAN and bury her nose in my neck. Enuff Said

It is really incredible this terrible cologne is rated above Jean Paul Gaultier and other great fragrances. I don't recommend this one at all.

Gray Flannel is one of the worst fragrances for men on the market, primarily because it is just too sweet, soft, and almost feminine. As some comment already noted, it reminds me of an old man which is not too surprising as many young men get Gray Flannel as their first fragrance as a present from their fathers or grandfathers. The bottom line is that there are just too many better alternatives.

I've never liked how this one smells, kinda old & musty to me.

Gray Flannel is the best fragrance I have ever smelled. As a matter of fact, it's the only fragrance I will let my husband wear. It makes me want to bite his neck when he wears it. If anyone doesn't like it it's probably because they put too much on. Don't! A little goes a long way.

I was lucky enough to be in JCPenney when a clerk was doing inventory. She asked me if I wanted it for free. Taking anything I can get for free, I accepted the offer. I was suprised by the smell- it was different. Not the best, but still pretty good. It has some sort of "gothicy" smell. Strange, but good.

Smells like sweet burning rubber on me.

Anyone who doesn't smell good wearing this may have some serious hygeine issues. ALl you have to do is spray a little bit of it and your'e good to go. The smell is not sweet at all. It's masculine. However, in order to wear this fragrance, you must bathe.

The worst smelling cologne ever. Smells like an old man. I wouldn't want someone to smell me wearing it.

This stuff is awesome - strong, masculine, a true man's cologne.

I actually used to like this fragrance, but since have come to my senses. It is TOO Sweet. Yuk, that rotten, sweet stink. Awful. Men, do NOT wear this..Women, don't buy it for your man! (In fact, I was picking up rotten apples in my back yard..and it was very similar to the smell of Gray Flannel!)
