DVR is a fantastic invention. It's really cool to set up recordings for all times during the day and watch them whenever you want. Also, it's really nice to fast forward through various commercials, meaning I can watch more shows.

DVR/TiVo have changed my life. No longer must I sit and wait for shows to come on. No longer must I learn how to operate a VCR or DVD player. Now I can use instant reply during sports games. Best. Invention. Ever.
