Somewhere between a 3 and a 4, but I liked The Rocker enough to round it up to a 4. Rainn Wilson (Dwight from The Office) was the lead actor in this comedy, and it might be a stretch to consider him a lead for a feature comedy. Judging by how it did at the box office, I think its safe to say audiences didn't think he was ready for it.

The Rocker has a good supporting cast that for a low budget comedy with Will Arnett, Christina Applegate, Fred Armisen, and Jason Sudeikis. Aside from the former Kelly Bundy, their roles were pretty minor. Most of the on screen time with Wilson went to 3 younger actors, who didn't impress me as a whole. Emma Stone followed up her supporting role in Superbad, with another good appearance here. However, the two young male band members didn't do much for me. They didn't suck completely with their acting, but didn't bring anything in terms of comedy.
