I bought a th-42pz80U two weeks ago, and already it is broken. I DO NOT recommend this TV at all. There is a fauly on-off switch that can fry your TV, as it did mine. I called the help line, and of course, they do not deal with Canadian customers. The bad thing is that Panasonics knows about the problem, but they are still putting the faulty switches in their new TVs anyway. Go for a LG or something that works and is trustworthy.

I was unsure about ordering this TV online, well I took the leap and it paid off! Over the years I have ordered a bunch of stuff from Amazon.com without any problems but nothing this large and fragile, the delivery was flawless(make sure Amazon has latest phone # and address info). The package was in excellent condition (no dings or holes, the delivery person (CEVA) bought the TV inside for us.

We have been looking at this TV for a week now and "WOW" it is remarkable what a difference in viewing pleasure. setup with HD DVR (Cablevision)was a piece of cake.

Would highly recommend this "Fantastic" HDTV to anyone and would recommend they consider buying it from Amazon.com.

The TV was delivered on time in excellent condition as advertised. It is working very well, we are pleased with it. The price was reasonable. A good use for our refund.

I am extremely pleased with the picture. This is my 3rd HDTV, and this unit has the best picture I have seen. The black levels are amazing. As for delivery, the delivery people canceled the first day and were 3 hours late the second day. When they arrived, they unloaded the TV from the box and left it on my desk. They did not set up the stand or even offer to turn on the TV to see if it worked. I was left to deal with the box. I was unsatisfied with delivery. However, I did not think it was fair to give a poor review to the TV because of delivery. However, I would re-consider buying a large item from Amazon if this is how they handle delivery.

Set up was perfect and delivery men very competent and polite. The TV is performing up to my expections and better. I am very satisfied with Panasonic and with the plasma TV. This is the best TV for the money and quality.
