Proof of this? Go to Tate Modern in London. Some of the biggest pieces of crap I've ever seen and they have the audacity to call it 'art'. I'll take a dump on the toilet photograph myself and then hang it up in Tate Modern. Guaranteed I'll make a mint.

I know they say "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", but let's face it, some things that pass as "art" is utter and pure crap (. . . sometimes literally).

Great art is challenging, intelligent, sometimes even scary Pretty comes later, with time and retrospection.

I can appreciate art, understandable art. There is some stuff out there that is just way over my head.

I can appreciate good art, but don't think that I would go to any great lengths to try to accomplish this task, as I don't have a talent in this area. And also another thing to think about is what one person might think is art, to another it might look like somebody just stood back from a distance and threw paint at a canvass.

I don't sometimes it is more like "what the bleep is that?"
