In the UK a pensioner racked up so much debt due to people persisting with junk mail promising bogus prizes through her front door.
That poor lady died and her daughter was so upset that she went on GMTV.
It's only now that advertising agencies and fraud investigators are now taking this seriously. Although now they've tightened the reigns about third parties contacting us it really shouldn't have taken a pensioner getting into thousands of pounds of debt for them to realise sending junk mail to an old lady is not only exploiting her vulnerability it's just plain wrong.

You`re only a victim if you respond.    Toss it out and no loss.

A little late for this one. If you've lived long enough, then you've already become a victim of junk mail.
