It wasn`t simpler. We were just young and stupider. There`s a big difference.

I usually refer to it as the good ol' days. My grandkids refer to my past as the olden days. A simpler time doesn't sound too bad after that.

just saw an episode of Penn and Tellers show Bulls*** and the topic was "the good old days' the point is there is no time in an era where there was the good old days. every decade and time of life had it's difficult and bad things. who actually had a "leave it to beaver life?"
